Entrepreneurs Doing Good Raises $686 for Channel 3 Kids Camp

On Thursday, June 12th, Entrepreneurs Doing Good had their kick-off event at Jonathan Pasco’s Restaurant in East Windsor, CT. This event was Entrepreneurs Doing Good first fund raiser and 100% of the profits will go directly to Channel 3 Kids Camp.

Entrepreneurs Doing Good is a nonprofit founded by Bill Baldwin, owner of Compelling Marketing Communications. Mr. Baldwin joined forces with Sandy Deegan, Attorney Jason G. Doyon, Jim Ricards, the Executive Director of the East Windsor Chamber of Commerce and Steve Kulscar, of Enfield Federal Savings Bank.

The initial $686 was raised by offering several levels of sponsorship on www.EntrepreneursDoingGood.org and a wonderful raffle at the kick-off event.

Entrepreneurs Doing Good Is Launched

A group of business owners have formed an organization called “Entrepreneurs Doing Good”. Its sole purpose is to raise money for multiple charitable organizations. 100% of all proceeds will be donated to various charities throughout the region.

 

Bill Baldwin, the founder of Entrepreneurs Doing Good and Compelling Marketing Communications’ President, was asked why he formed the group. “I have been very fortunate during the ten years that I’ve been an entrepreneur and feel this is another way to give back to a community that is so good to me.  I found other like-minded entrepreneurs and the group was born”, Baldwin stated. “Entrepreneurs Doing Good’s Executive Board maps the future of our organization based on where we see we can do the most good. A separate committee helps us identify charities to help”, he went on to say.

 

Entrepreneurs Doing Good raises money in several different ways. Various events have been planned throughout the upcoming year to attract additional entrepreneurs, caring individuals and funds.
