Bust out your Blogs: How to Get Blogging on IncBizNet

Blogging - Its the newest way to build your brand. So you want to blog? Do it in the right place. How about on a platform full of the fastest-growing private companies and leading entrepreneurs? 

Whether its to share experience, expertise, insight, news, promotional material or company updates with other private company executives and the web at large, IncBizNet blogging is a great way to find your voice online. IncBizNet allows you to connect and share with other entrepreneurs, as well as promote your company.

Fast Facts:

-Every time you blog to IncBizNet, your blog will show up on the homepage of both IncBizNet and inc.com

-Your blog is extremely visible to search engines

-Your blog clicks directly back to your company profile

Blog Tips: There are a few ways you can blog on IncBizNet:

1) To your company profile - visitors, media and search engines will find your blogs as a part of your company profile, showcasing your expertise. To post here: Log in. Select My Home. Then Compose Blog from the dashboard on the righthand side. Note, you will not see this dashboard if you do not have administrative rights for your company, you will find this option at the bottom center of the page. If you'd like to request administrative rights for your company's profile, email ssmith@inc.com

2) To an IncBizNet community - The IncBizNet At Large community is where all private company executives and employees can connect, blog, interact and share with other entrepreneurs while the web at large looks on. Inc. 5000 and 500 alumni/honorees can blog on the IncBizNet 5000 and 500 communities. To blog to a community: Log In. Select which community you'd like to blog on. Join the community using the Join Now button at the top left. Then, find the list of community blogs and scroll to the top. Select the orange Compose New option.

3) To Both, as well as multiple communties - Compose your blog in the community. After finished, find the blog on the community wall and click on it. Above the post, you will see something like this: Communities > IncBizNet At Large > Blog > Blog Post. Click on Blog. Find your entry in the list and click Edit. At the bottom of your post, check all the boxes where you wish your blog to appear. Only communities you have rights to blog to will appear as checkboxes. Save.
