Does a Print Version of Wikipedia Make Any Sense?

So I read this article this morning...

I've got to admit...I find it pretty odd.  Isn't the great benefit of www.wikipedia.org that, as well as being user generated, it's constantly updated?  How does that translate to print?  Well, pretty well for the publisher, who puts out a new 20 Euro edition every few months as things change.  But for the reader, what's the benefit?

The article claims it will make the relevant information more accessible.  Really?  If you can afford a 20 Euro book, chances are you're online in some capacity.  And we all know europe is way ahead in the mobile web, a medium where wikipedia is also prevalent.

So what do you think?  Does this make any sense to you?
