     WITH YOUR HANDS AMERICA - the blessings of Liberty can be enjoyed today and, shared with future generations. The hands of your families united to overcome depression, war and attack. Their hands built industry, schools, jobs and homes. Their hands created a standard of living not known by mankind before, in history. They constructed a door, layed out a welcome mat and issued a written invitation to immigrants around the world.

     Today, the key of inheritance is in your hands, What will you do with the key? I call today - "Our test in time!" - or, in essence, "Truly Invisible Measuring Everything."

     I come from an American family dedicated to education and service, especially military service. I began my career as an economic development planner working with local, state and federal governments and, private institutions to raise funds for family housing, education, employment, healthcare, water & sewage, elderly care, environmnent and parks & recreation. After a successful track record, I resigned to increase my education and experience. Since this time, I accepted a fellowship with the International Hall of Fame of Inventors - receiving an Honorary Ph.D. in "complex systems" for inventing "Acronetics" - thus becoming "the world's first Acroneticist." Though I'm not a lawyer - I studied law as Lincoln did independently from a non-accredited law school completing the requirements for a Juris Doctorate. ELECTION NIGHT

Are you a superhero? Who will catch your next ball? So far over my head into the cove. That we can feel the splash. Parting and painting the blue sky. Across the canvas and the elisped sun. Beyond the barrier far as a day's long. In the fresh fly net thrown. To the sea and season of love. And the purple pulse of fan. Waits for blessing. And picnic honey. Pouring on the wide smile.

You must study flight of bee. Cause the hand speed blade slicing the butter. Of ancient warrior. And the flighted feather of pigeon. Sharing today with a satellite. And the rooftop dish of identical suburbs. Upon the jublient hill won. Gives us his name and his fame. And the gilded blade drawn. With every breath. And, the jewel flung from his sword to open hand.

Begin the fish fry. And the next dance. Fueled by his dream. Passions on the pencil mark. Of the writer of column. And the toothpick chewing coach. Who led him to a pennant in his cap. And loved him like a son. His hope won race in summer. Terrific and climbing on the great scheduled way. Playing in spring in the column of his career.

In the wave of the wind. In the swirling cycle of his time. Cause he is stock and broker. Pointing at the sky - red, white and blue. By the steady rise of his chart. And the wisdoms of expectation. Back to back dividends and fireworks. Cause he is Main Street, Wall Street, Every Street and circus in between - Mastering all. And the chosen one. And the electricity of his charge straightens our hair.

Care Teddy bear. In the prime of his giving. Gift we will catch. To the last drop good. Of the corked champagne bottle. The club prize of the winning ritual. And the sweeten tea boiling. With his steam, in every swing. And staircase of mention. From the invested vault. Of the house. Of man with bat.

The manor born. Apparent the air. The chosen one! And bright star. Raised upon stage. In the shadows fo the great. The forward advice of the say hey. Fresh from the giants of old. The basket catch of the fields sure. In the day gathering. Of times to their present. The record coming home! And the world stood still for a king.

Cause in the game of the willing of glory be. The true diamonds of polish. Over the written hype. Of the kissers of brass. Full of smoke. And the bean count. And wearing the grin. From the coffee shop. Like print on the white page. And heat of sun. He rises above the fog. Not attached to their forecasting.

He learned from the corn and Mays. Of his grandmothers' biscuits and gravy. Before the first base and homer. That gave birth to the current boom. In front of the divers' cove. Wet and be happy. And the deep that fed the multitudes. The long ball and tuna sandwich. Food for the liking. In the present of the pastime. Found on the city hill. At the top of it - they applaud him.

For he not fret heat that they throw. For his experienced hammer will nail them. To the wall of his trophy room. And the turf covered floor. Obsorbs the shock. Fine guide to fun. In the park set rock solid. Alert he let whale swallow the pill. And let it fall on the island ripple. Not distracted by the ding. And the guiding light he blew. Over the wall rising straight. Up the row forever cheering.

Permanent row is a gift. Birthday and anniversary to the loyal. Of hikers whose bag he fills. To carry his treasure. Clear through spring, summer and fall. And fan have come to love the trailblazer. Pioneer of the greatest measure. Now commentator fof the sporting news pays - Homage to a master and pro. For the contribution of joy of the game.

And the hero of the now the glimpse of the future, In the center of the game. In the center of the fame. And the understudies of playacting bestsellers. Learn lessons from the center of the stage. Today and tomorrow. From the one here to stay. Shine the star. Galaxy spun a milky way. And the treat of the day. Spread upon his toast. In the majestic crowning. And the dawn dew of the warm spring.

He runs the base line of home and scores. In a knighting of the era gone. In the way of the noble. He would throw back and win. For the golden band. And the silver trumpet. Holds up the sign. Peace on Earth - Goodwill to all. His driving answers their cry. His feat burns in our mind. Now we believe in the chosen one. The mark underscores Victory! - at the day's end.

Americans are poetic people...People full of love and life - People who vote, ready to begin again. America demands that we rise - And stand on our feet! - With ryhme, rhythm and reason. KITCHEN TABLE ADDRESS

In one day, one hour and one minute - Our nation will go forth in freedom...And, spirit reflect the promise - That every vote counts. Through faith in God and, in country...We rise in principle rooted in constitution. Growing in wisdom and understanding...And measured in government. So, at this time, we gather - At this kitchen table - In this great nation - To test our final arguments, For those who live, Those who have given their lives, And for those yet born. For this is our duty, our right, our honor. Will generations remember what we do today? Time will tell!...For certain - History will remember what we say...At the ballot box.

     Now, this work begins - it begun with kitchen table discussions and, AMERICAN SUMMERS - Sunlight grew the crops of our harvest. Forget the loser for fact that they may - remember to rise again. In the spring of the promise gate, we rushed to feel. Growing a seed for a champiom. By the dock of curtain - calling bay. Poised to win, the happy house built. With our high hopes - full of honey - Into the future of the game today. We feast for a pastime as rich as the soil.

     I wrote this and 72 poems throughout grueling stretches and wonderful innings in my life. All of it - written in real time. They are as live and raw as an actual baseball game. Complete with fouls, bunts, pop ups, bloopers, blunders, hits, strikeouts and homeruns.

     On my third birthday, my maternal grandparents gave me a baseball cap and glove and, my paternal grandparents presented me with a bat and ball - it planted seeds of love, for the game - in my heart. My father taught me "the game" and, he emphasized "the fundamentals." His wise counsel lead me to becoming a Little League, Most Valuable Player - thus, laying the foundation for this work. However tough the economic crisis may be, it's our time to rise and shine. However dim the hour of our times, the spirit is anchored by a collective action which can always save the day. We often point fingers and confidently write the story why - but, fundamentally - it comes down to [HOW]>Health Over Weakness!      The answer is found in [ACTION]>A Creative Truth Inside Our Nature. Often it is difficult to see in the dark sea of greed, pride and prejudice. Those who [STAND]>Sticking To America's National Defense for common-good - men, women and children like you are the true winners - the ones that makes this country great. Those who see through the web of tricks and lies and rise to the occassion to fight for our collective cause are the real heroes - although few and far between.

     By economic events placed in motion in our times, I am motivated to go on the record in favor of [HEART]>Helping Every American Rise Today with [PIE]>Policy Instrument Essentials. This means less [SUGAR]>Systematic Unregulated Greed Accelerating Rot at the root of our [CORE]>Center Of Real Economics.

     The economy needs more [TASTE]>Treasury Action Spreading Trust Everywhere by becoming "the baker of last resort," : [BAKER]>Bold Action Keying Economic Recovery.

     Further, this does not mean larger government and higher taxes but, [DIET]>Developing Inner Excellence Today to decrease economic [OBESITY]>Outrageously Bad Economics Spreading Infectious Transactional Yields through systemic [OBESITY]>Outside Bets Easily Stirring Institutionalized Toxic Yields. As for individuals - we all seek self-interest - there are not exceptions but, we are also [TRUTH]>The Roots Underneath The House and, this includes "The White House" and, "The Great House of Congress."

     The types of action promoted in this work is even more valuable with [YOU]>Your Own Uniqueness and, through [YOU]>Your Own Understanding dedicated to higher proofs and principals. As disinterested as your neighbor may think that you are - you know that truth that dwells deep within your heart makes you American.

     To explain how America can grow out of this economic crisis it is important to look inside the word [RESCUE] for a dynamic answer. This is an acronetic approach to producing a measureable solution as follows:

(E)fficiency

     First, it's a historical fact - (r)esources change hands over the course of economic growth and development under the leadership of executives. The quality of leadership can reasonably explain the rate of growth in any given country. "The role" of the entrepreneur upon growth was echoed by economist Joseph A. Schumpter. Therefore, the question Congress, Wall Street and Main Street should ask - why should the American taxpayer reward poor performance.

     Second, let's look at Adam Smith's "invisible hand" as it relates to markets. The markets for capital goods and labor welcomes credibility. The root word is credit. There is always demand for credit but, the supply from Wall Street and Congress that is in short order is "credibility."

     Third, it's a fact that economic growth needs the connection between lenders and borrowers to sustain growth. But, the cost should go to those on Wall Street who performed poorly. They should pay the [PRICE] which in this case stands for "Pragmatically Removing Incompetent Chief Executives."

     Fourth, productivity is used as a measure of efficiency. The efficiency of some Wall Street companies and executives can be viewed and measured through low productivity. Congress should use the productivity standard for evaluating and rewarding any group or individual with the taxpayer's treasure.

    [ If a neighbor's water leak causes your ceiling to collaspe then that neighbor is responsible for the damages.]

     You must agree that 'Leadership + Integrity + Fairness + Excellence is what really matters in "LIFE." Further, you must agree that the difference between ordinary and extrordinary is what I coined as "RIDE" which stands for 'Realize Illuminating Discoveries Everyday...' when you jump on "the rollercoaster" and, learn how to breath.

     In essence, feel the natural power of your inner energy or, taste your slice of the pie or come to fully-appreciate the blessings of liberty.

     The fact is - we are simply ordinary people seeking ways to grow, develop and expand our values with "Real American Spirit."

     As a boy I enjoyed many moments exploring Bayport, Florida on land and on water. My grandfather, William Royal Wright, Sr. often stopped by this tiny marine store on the Island for supplies; thus - beginning my interest in gas, pies and great escapes.

     Years later, I coined the phrase "GAS" short for 'Great American Spirit....' filled with unforgettable moments...

     This small statement sums up the big vision, I have for this project. Over time, I hope "Gas, Pies & Great Escapes" shows you how to make better choices that inspires the "Great American Spirit" that's stored in all of us.

PREFACE

     GAS, PIES & GREAT ESCAPES is a natural invitation to experience three things that are as "ALL-AMERICAN" as honey, milk and apple pie - gas stations, pizza pie and unforgettable adventures.

     My focus when starting this project was covering the entire United States of America. As the world's first Acroneticist, I employed the technology I invented - Acronetics and, the Acronetic "TASTES" which in this case, stands for 'To Appreciate Subtle Things Evoking Style...'

     As an inventor, I rather like the word "STYLE;" and, with its powerful essence, I see it as 'Something That You Live Everyday...' because its 'Something That You Love Everyday...' This way of life is expressed throughout America, in its spirited attitude, architecture and attractions.

     The thirty locations that I selected for the blog and the book, span across the country reaffirming my belief that "STYLE!" - through its unity, uniqueness and universal appeal is timeless...

     The wonder of the people, places and things discovered, makes a production like this fun. My role is simple - to show you what America offers us through architecture, design and lifestyle.

     Someone once wrote: "WE DO NOT REMEMBER DAYS BUT, MOMENTS..." I have selected the moments in GAS, PIES & GREAT ESCAPES to inspire, impress and impact your life with true American Style.
