Absorbent, Ink. Announces Employee AID

April 14, 2008 Lawrence, KS - Absorbent, Ink. has announced the launch of Absorbent, Ink. Dollars, or AID, an employee program that offers immediate financial support to current Absorbent, Ink. employees at a time of personal crisis involving financial hardship.

The AID fund is created from voluntary employee contributions. In the spirit of true benevolence, any employee on staff at Absorbent, Ink., full or part-time, is eligible to receive a donation from AID beginning on the individual's start date of employment whether or not that individual contributes to the fund.

“We have the gift of being surrounded by exceptional folks out here, so programs like AID are a perfect fit. Through a simple nomination process, the committee is made aware of an employee’s financial emergency and can act swiftly with financial support,” said Billy Pilgrim, AID committee chairman and Absorbent, Ink. co-founder. “Area firms that have programs that are similar, helped us with the fine details and administrative guidelines and I’d be honored to pay it forward and help any business get a program like this fired up at their workplace.”

Any business that would like information on the formation of AID can contact Billy Pilgrim at 785-842-9164.
