- Bio
- Having started as a partner in a small Web development company in 1995, Chris has spent most of his career in Internet related fields. In 1998 Chris joined Ron Jr. at SMC Networks where he was the head of technology for their E-commerce and Internet division. After two years of success in e-commerce, the team developed a business plan for an online computer networking magazine, 8wire.com, and received funding from a venture capitalist company representing several Taiwanese computer networking manufacturers. As the 8wire Publisher, Chris managed a small team of 10 editors and developers, as well as a stable of about 25 freelance writers. Although the economy was eventually unable to support advertising-based revenue streams on any but the largest of scales, the 8wire email newsletter was nonetheless sent to over 25,000 readers twice a week and the site received over 1 million page views per month. Chris joined Achieve Internet in 2001 and now serves as the Chief Information Officer.
