Lawrence Behr, CEO of LBA Group, Inc., of Greenville, North Carolina, has over 45 years of experience in broadcast and wireless communications engineering, management and marketing. From management of corporate, military and government infrastructure projects to the development of new antenna technologies, for which he has been granted numerous patents. Mr. Behr has contributed his expertise to both the private and public telecommunications sectors. Known as a leader in the industry in the United States and abroad, Mr. Behr has served as an expert witness in matters relating telecommunications infrastructure, regulation and allocations. He has testified before the Federal Communications Commission, state and Federal Courts, and other regulatory bodies.

Recognized as a pioneer in wireless and broadcast technologies, Mr. Behr has been an invited presenter in Europe, Latin America and the United States at conferences and seminars sponsored by the Society for Broadcast Engineers, the National Association of Broadcasters, IEEE, CIRT, and other industry groups.

He is a past Commissioner of the North Carolina Agency for Public Telecommunications and international panel member of the University of Southern California, Center for Futures Research. He is the recipient of honors and awards that include the Free Kuwait Medal for his efforts in reestablishing communications installations after the Gulf War, and has been named a Fellow of the Radio Club of America (RCA).

Mr. Behr holds membership in professional societies including: International Association of Radio and Telecommunications Engineers (iNARTE), Senior Member; Society of Broadcast Engineers (SBE), Senior Charter Member; Society of Cable Television Engineers (SCTE), Senior Member; and Armed Forces Communications and Electronic Association (AFCEA). He is an iNARTE Certified Electromagnetic Compatibility Engineer with iNARTE Engineer First Class license, and an SBE Certified Senior Broadcast Engineer. Mr. Behr presently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of iNARTE.

In 1963, Mr. Behr established Lawrence Behr Associates, Inc., and has organized and operated spectrum and tower management companies, a banking firm, radio and television broadcasters, and other businesses.
